Divino Main Store, Uruguay
As part of the general renovation of the main store of Divino, we were tasked with developing a new design for their equipment. The goal was to replace the existing gondolas in the “Bedding” section with new equipment that emphasizes lightness and highlights light wood, as is the case in the rest of the store. The solution was a standard metal structure in white with light oak wood shelves.
Within this extensive renovation, there was also a goal to change the checkout process, moving from metal checkouts to a large counter with four checkout points, reorganizing the customer waiting area for service. The proposal was to create dynamic (non-stationary) waiting spaces where customers can still see, touch, and buy products. Island modules were suggested for the pre-checkout area, which sequentially guide customers towards the checkout point while displaying products. Since they are composed of different units, the layout can be changed as needed by the store. Each island module aesthetically follows the design of the gondola equipment with a white metal structure and light oak wood shelves, adding transparent (acrylic) product holders and wheels for versatility.
Once again, we are proud to support Divino in optimizing their customers’ shopping experience.
